18th Annual Women of Valor Awards Tea

On Thursday, August 11, 2022, St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters celebrated our 18th Annual "Women of Valor" Awards Tea to benefit St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters.

Held at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, this annual event honors a distinguished group of women who are leaders in their careers and in their communities.

This year’s event was hosted once again by our good friend Ernie Anastos, featured guest speaker John Catsimatidis of Red Apple Group and honorary guest & keynote speaker Keechant L. Sewell, New York City Police Commissioner, NYPD. We would also like to recognize our Committee Chair, Kirsten Beck of Avison Young and committee members for their dedication.

The 2022 Women of Valor Award Recipients were: Gabrielle Rubin Deveaux, SVP, Head of Global Real Estate & Workplace, iCapital; Lisa-Anna Malecki, Director Cost Management, Gardiner & Theobold, Inc.; Katie Grishman, Capital Projects, Senior Manager, Citadel; Bonnie Pfleiderer, VP of Business Development, Ryan Soames Engineering; Karen Hernandez, Development & Construction, Stellar Management; Khyati Shah, Senior Associate, Practice Leader, Vocon; Theodora Livadiotis, Director, Cushman & Wakefield; Marie Toucet, Director, CBRE.

With more than 700 guests in attendance, the Women of Valor Awards Tea event has proven to be a success in gathering so many individuals and corporations to raise the necessary funds to support our mission start two new initiatives: Baby Care and Women’s Personal Hygiene programs..
